THE BLIND “PROFIT”
Teammates predict their scores and play in separate groups
This game is played with multiple foursomes where teammates must play in separate groups. The goal is to predict your team’s combined score before the match begins.
Any scoring combination can be used; net, gross, best ball, combined score, etc. The winner will be the team to guess exactly right, or closest to their prediction either above or below.
Before play begins, teammates are selected and meet to decide what their score will be for the day. Their predicted score is then written on a piece of paper and stored in secret for comparison at the conclusion of match. Having partners in separate groups adds to the suspense and eliminates any chance of collaborative shot making on the final holes.
Another way to control the possibility of “cheating” is to say that anyone posting a double bogey or higher on the last two holes is disqualified.
