“RYDER” CUP
Team play alternating scoring method every six holes
Two-player teams play three separate six-hole matches. On the first six holes, the team’s net best ball counts; for the next six holes, one net and one gross score are added together. On the final six holes, the average aggregate score (both scores divided by two) of the twosome is used. Betting can be on an individual hole (match play) basis where teams play to win the most holes. Or, each six-hole format can equal a separate bet to be won or lost.
This game can be used for small groups as well, but best played with a number of teams.
