NINES

Threesomes compete by earning points on each hole based on relative scores

There are 9 points available on each hole and the group decides the dollar value for each point prior starting their round. Points are distributed after the conclusion of each hole according to each player’s relative score as follows:

Lowest score = 5 points
2nd Lowest = 3 points
Highest score = 1 point
Two tie for low score = 4 points each.
Two ties for 2nd lowest = 2 points each.
All tie = 3 points each

This game is easy to adapt for a foursome by simply changing the total points available and calling it “Twelve’s.” For this format,
Lowest score = 6 points
2nd Lowest = 4 points
3rd Lowest = 2 points
Highest Score = 0 point
It’s easy to figure out the math from there for all the possible outcomes in a foursome.
