THE SHELL GAME
Players try to win the Par 3s, Par 4s, and Par 5s separately scored
This competition is divided into three hole segments and paid out three ways. Players agree on the dollar buy-in and pick teams or order of play before the round begins. Once play begins, scores on Par 4s, Par 3s, and Par 5s are kept separately. The best total net score individual or team) for each segment wins a pot paid out as follows: 50% of the pot to the team with the best total score on par 4s, 30% for the best score on Par 5s, and 20% on Par 3s. Some like to stipulate that in team play, a team can only win one of the three segments. If two segments are won, the lowest value segment goes to the second place team.
