TRIPLE DOWN
Hold the tee and win a point ~ lose and it costs three
Played individually, or as partners, the game starts by using a random method of deciding who gets the honor on the first tee. For an individual game, the person who tees off first tries to hold the tee for the next hole by making the best score on the first hole. Scoring can be either net or gross. If they do, they win one point. If they loose the hole, three points are awarded to their opponents one each). If the hole is halved, no points are awarded and the same player keeps the honor on the next hole.
In a team format, you still award one point for winning and give three points for losing, the players just share the outcome.
A dollar amount is assigned at the beginning of the round and points are totaled to decide who wins. This can also be played where partners rotate on each hole.
