About the Course
Carved from West Coast forest wilderness near Victoria, Highland Pacific Golf has earned its place among British Columbia's top courses through dramatic elevation changes and strategic design. The course received consecutive recognition as one of North America's Top 100 Ranges by Golf Range Magazine from 2008 to 2011, and Globe and Mail golf writer Brian Kendall named it among BC's must-play venues. Though measuring just over 6,600 yards, the constant climbs and descents make it play significantly longer than the scorecard suggests. The Pacific Nine features wide, sweeping fairways with two exceptional par-3s set in opposite directions from elevated tees, while the Highland Nine culminates with a heart-stopping drop-shot par-3. Fairways thread through natural rock outcroppings, fescue grasses, and water features, with subtly undulating greens guarded by strategic bunkers and punishing drop-offs that demand precise course management. From the tee boxes, panoramic vistas of the Olympic Mountains, Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Thetis Lake Park unfold across the horizon.
