About the Course
Perched over a thousand feet above two arms of Okanagan Lake, The Rise Golf Course is one of British Columbia's most dramatic mountain layouts. The front nine unfolds across sage-covered plateau terrain, while the back nine carves through Douglas Fir forests, with over 6,600 yards of fairways threading between canyon and woodland—twelve holes showcase sweeping vistas of the lake and valley below. The 15th hole stands as the course's signature moment: a par-3 where tee shots plunge more than a hundred feet from a cliff-like elevated tee to a pond-protected green. The par-4 6th presents another memorable challenge—after a precise drive, the approach must carry across a small lake to an island green. Canyon winds, elevation changes, water hazards, and tree-lined fairways turn every round into a performance in a mountain amphitheater.
