About the Course
Named 'Best New Course in Canada' by SCOREGolf Magazine in 1996, Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club sits on the hillside of Eagle Mountain in Coquitlam, Greater Vancouver, and ranks 90th in Canada as one of British Columbia's most challenging mountain courses. The course is renowned for its dramatic elevation changes and spectacular panoramic views. The signature 15th hole, a 456-yard par-4, plunges more than 175 feet from the back tees down to a ravine before an elevated green, testing distance control and strategic decision-making. The 14th hole's elevated tee box offers sweeping vistas of the Fraser Valley, Mount Baker, and Vancouver city, turning each shot into a cinematic experience. The course masterfully uses the mountain terrain's natural undulations, with tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkering, and grass swales protecting the greens, demanding precision and thoughtful course management on every hole.
