About the Course
Ranked #1 public course in Nevada and a perennial fixture on America's best course lists, Snow Mountain has earned Golf Digest's 4.5-star rating since its 1995 debut and was named the 5th best course in the country by GolfPass. As the flagship layout of Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort, this Pete Dye design masterfully blends raw desert terrain with strategic architecture, establishing itself as the benchmark of the local golf scene. Stretching 7,146 yards, the course showcases signature railroad-tie bunkers and water hazards on seven holes in classic Dye fashion. The par-3 16th—measuring 200 yards with a forced carry over water to a peninsula green—delivers the most visually dramatic moment, framed by panoramic views of Sheep Mountain. The closing 18th presents a demanding par-4 with water hugging the entire left side from tee to green, where rock formations and cacti punctuate the desert landscape, forcing players to weigh risk against reward on every shot. Widely regarded as having the finest par-3 collection among Paiute's three courses, Snow Mountain offers the most accessible yet thoroughly compelling challenge for golfers of varying abilities.
