About the Course
Pinehurst No. 4 has undergone multiple redesigns since its original design by Donald Ross in 1919. Following Gil Hanse's redesign in 2018, Golf Magazine named No. 4 the best new course of 2018, and Golf Digest ranked it second on their list of best new courses in 2019. The course takes advantage of the area's rolling topography and ridgelines to create beautiful vistas. The course features wide and forgiving fairways, vast expanses of sand, native wiregrass, and dramatic vistas. Hole 13 is a classic risk/reward hole that demands a tee shot in the fairway if you're going to go for it in two.
