About the Course
As Nevada's only Jack Nicklaus Signature Design, Reflection Bay earned recognition on Golf Digest's '100 Greatest Public Courses' list and ranked 13th in the state from 2021-2024. From 1998 to 2007, the course hosted the Wendy's 3-Tour Challenge for a decade, where champions like Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson, and Fred Couples competed in a unique team format bringing together the PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour. The course unfolds along 1.5 miles of Lake Las Vegas shoreline, with five waterfront holes creating the signature challenge. The 455-yard par-4 7th plunges directly toward the lake—Nicklaus calls it his favorite hole here, inspired by his British Open experiences battling coastal winds. The par-3 17th plays to a near-island green surrounded on three sides by water, testing not just precision but nerves. The finishing par-5 18th hugs the water down the entire right side, where every shot becomes a negotiation between risk and reward, between the course and yourself.
