About the Course
Perched on the rugged coastline of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, Cabot Links is Canada's first true links golf course and consistently ranks among the world's top public courses. Its arrival reshaped the North American golf landscape—Golf Digest named it 'Canada's Best Golf Course,' while Golf Magazine included it in the 'World's Top 100.' This course revealed that Canada, too, could offer the wild coastal terrain and authentic links experience reminiscent of Scotland. Sixteen of the 18 holes offer views of the Atlantic Ocean, where wind, dunes, tall grasses, and rolling fairways create the most primal challenge. The 16th hole stands as the course's most dramatic—the tee perched atop a dune, the fairway winding down along the coastline, with crashing waves and ocean winds demanding that every shot be negotiated with nature. There are no trees for shelter, no artificial intrusions—only sky, sea, and golf in its purest form.
