About the Course
Punta Espada Golf Club is widely recognized as one of the Dominican Republic's crown jewels. Designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, the course seamlessly integrates the natural landscape with challenging layouts suitable for golfers of all skill levels. All 18 holes offer stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, with eight holes hugging the coastline. Punta Espada hosted the PGA Tour's Champions Tour event, the Cap Cana Championship, from 2008 to 2010. One of the course's most famous holes is the 13th, a 250-yard par-3 that requires a tee shot over the ocean to reach the green. The course design makes full use of Cap Cana's rocky Atlantic shoreline, lagoons, and coral reefs.
