About the Course
As the first Slovak course to break into Continental Europe's Top 100, Penati Golf Resort Legend Course made history in 2014 with its 97th-place ranking. This Nicklaus Design championship layout has hosted the European Challenge Tour in 2014 and 2015, the EGA European Mid-Amateur Championship in 2013, and earned Slovakia's 'Golf Course of the Year' Golden Albatross award for consecutive years. The course's crown jewel is the 15th hole—a legendary 712-meter par-6 that stands as Central Europe's longest, offering 11 tees to accommodate all skill levels. The dramatic 18th features the course's narrowest fairway leading to an island green described as 'a small emerald floating upon a blue surface,' where 130 spectators can watch from the clubhouse terrace as approach shots face their moment of truth. Spanning 95 hectares with no out-of-bounds areas, the course delivers world PGA-level challenge through wide undulating fairways, diverse greens, and steep bunkers—a masterclass in Nicklaus Design philosophy.
