About the Course
As the only Canadian course in the TPC network, TPC Toronto made history in 2025 by hosting the 121-year-old RBC Canadian Open, a tournament surpassed in age only by The Open Championship and U.S. Open, where legends like Lee Trevino and Tiger Woods achieved golf's Triple Crown. The North course underwent a major Ian Andrew renovation in 2023, becoming the longest venue in Canadian Open history at 7,389 yards, with its par-70 configuration making strategic decisions paramount for success. The course creates tension between generous fairways and penal rough, with the par-3 7th and 11th demanding carries over ponds to undulating greens, while the closing par-5 18th brings both birdie and double-bogey into play through a new shaved run-off area fronting the green near water. This reward-precision, punish-mistakes design philosophy exemplifies PGA TOUR championship-level golf.
